To provide step tracking functionality, the App requests access to the following data through Apple HealthKit:
- Step Count: Your daily step count to track progress toward your goals
- Walking + Running Distance: Distance traveled to display in the app
- Active Energy Burned: Activity data to calculate active minutes
- Weight: Your weight data (read-only) to display in the app if available
This health data is accessed solely through Apple's HealthKit framework and is used only to display your activity information within the App.
How We Use Your Information
Your health and fitness data is used exclusively to:
- Display your current step count and daily progress
- Show distance walked and active minutes
- Track your progress toward your personalized daily step goal
- Display weekly and monthly achievement history
- Send local notifications about your step progress (if you enable notifications)
Data Storage and Security
All data stays on your device. Specifically:
- Health data accessed from HealthKit is never transmitted to external servers
- Your step goals and notification preferences are stored locally on your device using Apple's secure storage
- We do not have servers that receive or store your personal information
- We do not use third-party analytics or tracking services
Data Sharing
We do not share your data with anyone. Since we don't collect or transmit your data to external servers, there is no data to share with third parties, advertisers, or any other entities.
Notifications
